Shelter From the Rain will hold its 4th Annual Motors for Moms Car Show on Saturday, May 18, 2024 starting at 11 AM. The event will help raise funds and increase economic mobility for single mothers and will include a car show and awards, food trucks and DJ. This event is presented in partnership with The Eichholz Law Firm and will be held at Exclusive Engravings, located at 9701 Ford Avenue in Richmond Hill, Georgia.

Funds raised from this event will help single parents and their children by helping provide baby supplies, household items, mentorship, support groups, virtual tutoring for students, financial literacy, homeownership and workforce development.

“Unfortunately, single mothers in the United States are more likely to experience job displacement, poor academic attainment, live in poverty and have episodic or chronic depression,” says Jennifer Graham, executive director of Shelter From the Rain. “It is critical that the community work together to support families in their journey to achieve economic mobility. Through these types of charitable events, we are able to expand our services and reach more parents in need of a network of support.”

Exclusive Engravings will provide the awards for Best In Show, Best Classic Car, Best Motorcycle, Best Mustang, Best Corvette, Best Truck, Best Performance Vehicle, Best Jeep and Most Unique along with other honorary awards.
